The Digital Smile Design Process
- We start with a thorough consultation, checking your teeth and gums for issues – obvious and not so obvious. We’ll chat about what you want to change about your smile and what outcomes you’re looking to achieve.
- We will then take photos and 3D scans of your mouth and face.
- We upload these images to a special computer program which creates a digital simulation of your mouth and teeth.
- Taking the feedback we got from you, we’ll adjust your teeth on screen – straightening, whitening, and fixing other issues.
- You’ll see a digital version of your new smile from multiple angles and positions. You’re basically seeing a series of “before and after” pictures, but the “after” is digitally simulated.
- At this point you can tell us what you love and what you want to change, and we’ll work together to create your perfect smile.
- Once you approve the digital design, Dr Steven Rostkier will develop a clear dental treatment plan to achieve the smile of your dreams.

Dr Steven Rostkier graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1999. He grew up in Doncaster and later worked in England to broaden his dental skills.
Dr Rostkier is continuously learning and investing in new technologies to stay at the forefront of cosmetic dentistry. He believes in preventing dental issues before they become a problem. Dr Rostkier takes time to know each patient’s needs and aims to give you a healthy, beautiful smile for life.
As a father of four, Dr Rostkier is great with kids too. When not designing smiles, he enjoys golf, tennis, and cheering for Carlton in the footy.
