Meet Dr Steven Rostkier

A 1999 graduate of the University of Melbourne, Dr Steven Rostkier grew up locally in Doncaster. After graduating, he worked in England for a year and six months to expand his dental knowledge and experience. Since then, Dr Rostkier has been continually developing his skills and expanding his education in Implant Dentistry, Endodontics, and Sedation Dentistry.

Dr Rostkier believes in a preventative approach to dentistry to ensure that his patients have the best prospects of a healthy smile that lasts a lifetime.

Dr Rostkier is focused on developing good rapport with his patients to enable him to understand their individual needs. As a father of four, he also understands and relates well to children. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis, travelling and watching football to support his team, Carlton.

Receptionist

Amanda joined Dr Rostkier’s team as his receptionist in 2018, after having worked for many years in the hospitality industry.

She enjoyed the change of career and learning about the dental industry. Amanda applies her highly organised nature to ensure patients are well looked after, and enjoys sharing life experiences with them as they engage with the practice.

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys cooking up a storm as she loves all things food and wine.

Patient Coordinator

Alana joined Dr. Rostkier’s team as a patient coordinator in June 2024, bringing with her four years of experience in dental nursing and reception roles.

Eager to expand her dental knowledge, she embraced this new role with enthusiasm and excitement. Alana is dedicated to building strong, lasting relationships with each patient, ensuring their dental journeys are seamless and memorable.

Outside of work, Alana is a fitness enthusiast who can often be found at the gym, discovering new culinary experiences and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dental Hygienist

Jocelyn worked in both public and private practices over the years, and commenced work with Dr Rostkier in 2016.

Growing up in country Victoria, Jocelyn studied at La Trobe University in Bendigo, graduating in 2012. She believes that good oral hygiene is important for overall health, and she is passionate about educating and motivating patients to improve this regard to reduce future dental problems. Jocelyn enjoys her meeting patients and helping to make a difference to their smile.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, yoga and spending time with family and friends.
